Anyone Been To The Knob Creek Shoot?
 

im gonna be near the TN/KY border the weekend of the shoot and was thinking about heading up one day and checking it out...anyone been there before? worth it? is saturday or sunday night better to go?

it great , lot of stuff their also ammo, gun for sale food to eat plus for a fee you can rent a big gun an shot it .it last all day an in to the night . that were i buy my guns , the guy that own the place is a real good guy , like i said their will be booths for ammo an gun sale out side ,

not sure if ill be able to do both days.....any clue if saturday or sunday would be better??? im assuming they have the night shoots with exploding stuff on both days right??

both day have the same stuff going on ... but i like saturday better . not in a hurry that way an you get to look at the stuff they have there

I used to go to both spring and fall shoots, camped there from Thurs thru Sun. Move away from the area in 04 so don't know how they are now but if you have never been to one it something you should do. I would say be there a little after sunup on saturday if you want parking within walking distance. Used to be thousands of people on Sat. Lots of vendor tables so there are deals to be found. bring cash - lots of it. They also have competition in the lower ranges, sub-gun, assault rifle, war relic and pistol. Sat night shoot is better than sunday when they start to peter out.
